Established in 2016, Scenic Landscaping strives to be the most reputable & respected landscaping company in the Indian Ocean.

Within a few short years, Scenic Landscaping has already become one of the preferred landscaping companies in Seychelles with high-profile clients relying on the company to provide expert services in landscaping, irrigation, maintenance and environmental rehabilitation. With respect and trust for the management team's expertise, the consultancy side of the business is flourishing alongside the project implementation and day-to-day maintenance aspects of the company's operations.

	With years of landscaping experience in Seychelles prior to establishing Scenic Landscaping, company founder and Managing Director, Mr. Deoraj Shamah has an intimate knowledge of not only the environmental challenges of landscaping in the country, but also the logistic, employment and bureaucratic hurdles unique to doing business in the archipelago. A naturalized Seychellois, a Mauritian by birth, Mr. Shamah furthermore has a broad-scope regional understanding of the Indian Ocean and the business of landscaping across its island nations.
	Director, Bernadette Shamah brings a deep love for the natural beauty of her country to the table, as well as a wealth of local knowledge on the ins-and-outs of doing business in Seychelles. Instrumental in the establishing of Scenic Landscaping and its development into what it is today, Mrs. Shamah continues to be the go-to when it comes to getting things done and facing the bureaucratic hurdles that arise.
	In 2019, Mr Dewald Kruger joined the team as Operations Manager to assist with the development and growth of the company. Having previously worked together at another Seychelles based landscaping firm, Mr. Shamah requested that Dewald return to Seychelles from South Africa, having confidence in his work ethic, but also his extensive horticultural knowledge and experience working in the island nation. Mr. Kruger brought back with him a Bachelor of Technology degree in Horticulture as well as years of landscaping experience working in Seychelles, South Africa and Canada.
	The glue that holds daily operations together, Ms. Birgitta Jouaneau is our HR & Admin Manager superhero, keeping the operations running smoothly day-to-day to allow the rest of our team to focus on the task at hand. Ms. Jouaneau has a knack for finding a solution to whatever problem we throw her way.
